About The Teacher
I have been an educator for approximately 32 years. I have been placed in grades ranging from K-4, but am presently teaching Grade Three at Morris Academy and have been in this position for a number of years now. Morris is like home to me because I was once a student here, starting at this school in Grade Three. I have two children of my own. My daughter is graduated with her firefighting degree and my son is enrolled in Marine Institute. I know what it is like to balance a career and children and that is why my philosophy is to not assign homework on the weekends. Parents need time to catch up with their children and do things they do not have a chance to do during the week. I believe myself to be a fair teacher, but also, a teacher that expects the students in the classroom to respect me and each other. I hope your child has a wonderful year in my class and feel free to contact me if there are any difficulties.
Mission For The Class
To continue to develop our reading/writing ability.
To develop an appreciation for each other.
To take the time and listen to each other.
To ALWAYS do the BEST we can.
